A Guide for Foreign Investors
From the fiscal year ended March 2007, Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. has started a new service, for the convenience of readers outside Japan, preparing reclassified English Financial Statements*3 presented with Japanese yen and converted U.S. dollar amounts. The English Financial Statements are made in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in Japan and they are subject to the audit of Ernst & Young ShinNihon.
To prepare the English Financial Statements, particularly we are cautious about material discrepancies from Securities Report, which is submitted to the Financial Services Agency based on the Securities and Exchange Law.

Also, to enhance the fair disclosures of corporate information, we translate the Securities Report*2, based on the Securities and Exchange Law, from Japanese to English. The translated Securities Report can be seen on our web pages. Please note that the official document for the Securities Report is made in Japanese, and the translated Securities Report is not subject to the audit of Ernst & Young ShinNihon.
